Pros:
sharp,f2.8,price
Cons:
slow af,weight
image quality is good, build quality is excellent as expected of a tokina, sharp on most f stops, might be a lil soft wide open. its heavy(but thats because its build like a tank) but can get used to it.
af would be the biggest con in this lens. its not slow but abit hard if u do sports. the af/mf switch is abit hard to use as well

Cons:

On my Canon 20D I have great results, price was very nice for a student and the quality of this lens is just awesome
(price was 450€ = 555$)

Pros:
tack sharp on slr and dslr, built like a tank, smooth MF and zoom ring, tripod mount included, less expensive than Sigma and Nikkor
Cons:
heavy like a tank, slow AF performance on Nikon F70, much better on F90x/F100, not removable tripod mount
Very sharp from F2.8, slight vignieting on film, no vignieting on dslr, slow AF with my Nikon F70, much better on D100 and F90x/F100, formidable build quaility
