a good lens for the money. a good starting lens. I started off with a Vivitar 100-300 5.6-7.1 zoom. what a godaweful lens. this little guy was a vast improvement. thought not very fast or as high quality as some other glass out there, it does its job. the zoom ring is a litle stiff but other then that its very solid.
the contrast could be better though, I was expecting the classic Minolta colors and was a little disappointed.
