a heavy long lenses. takes fantastic photo's i have owned this lens for a couple of weeks and have taken some incredible photo's with it. about the only improvment i could think of making to it would be a zoom lock to eliminate lens creep. its weight is because of the focal length. 4/3 equals 270-800mm
