Pros:
the only game in town for Minolta users
Cons:
overexposure, poor support

Minolta dropped the ball with this product. It overexposes with digital cameras- a suspicious indicator that it simply was a film unit. I have a significant amount of experience shooting macro & have owned five different ring lights. This was by far the worst. If the flash cannot give proper exposure- there's nothing left to say. You might consider a Sigma 140 if it is offered for konica minolta. Otherwise, if you are serious about macro- ditch it all and go Nikon.
