(From company literature) This super compact SLIK Sprint Mini series tripod has many of the same advanced features of the SPRINT PRO but in a much smaller package. The SPRINT MINI weighs just 26 ounces and folds to an impressively compact 14.1 inches for effortless travel. But surprising for tripod of this small size, it has a maximum height of 43.3 inches to get the camera well up off the ground.
The SPRINT MINI makes setting up simple and secure with fast, easy to use SLIK speed release leg locks and gearless center column for quick height adjustments. Three position adjustable angle legs make it easy set up on uneven ground or steps.
The adjustable angle leg locks can also be used to lower the tripod. When used with the built-in short center column, (the included center column unscrews into two pieces) the camera is just 6.4 inches off the ground for extremely low angle or macro photography out in the field. Another way to get the camera low is to reverse the center column which could be used for macro photography or copy work.
SLIK even designed a new head for the SPRINT series. This ball head features a precision milled aluminum ball for smooth reliable camera movements. This head can easily handle a camera up to 3.5 pounds* in weight.
The SLIK SPRINT MINI is available in either Silver Metallic or near Black SLIK Gun Metallic and comes with a tripod bag for even easier carrying.
* 3.5 pounds of properly balanced equipment, The SPRINT MINI will be able to hold less of load is not balanced.

Pros:
lever locks, two settings for leg angle, removable center column
Cons:
head will only support 3.5lbs
This is a great tripod if you're looking for something cheap and compact that will handle macro heights. The max height is only 43" so you probably don't want to use this as your main tripod, but for hiking and travel, it's great. The lever locks makes it quick and easy to deploy and it has a minimum height of 6.4".
The head isn't very strong so it won't support a heavy camera (like the Canon 1D series) or heavy lenses, but it is replaceable.
