The new models have padded “Leg Wraps” around the top leg section. The padded wraps make carrying the tripod more much more comfortable and add a mere 4 oz to the weight of each tripod, keeping them feather-light for easy traveling. There are no changes to the tripods other than the addition of the leg wraps. All other specifications remain the same.

Very solid, much more then specified.
Cons:
9 collet leg locks are inconvinient and slow to setup. Sometimes longer spikes needed.
I use it with Gaoersi 617 panoramic camera, mostly. I'm generally satisfied with this tripod. But it inconvenience to setup led me to buy one more tripod, with 3 legs section (not 4), with clip locks, not collet. Sometimes speed matters.
I had one small "problem": rubber cover on collet has detached. Some glue solved this problem.
