(From company literature) SLIK Monopod 350. Lighter weight than the 600, the Monopod 350 is designed for use with lighter weight digital or film SLR and compact cameras.

The Monopod 350's 4 leg section design folds down to a very compact 20 inches but when fully extended the monopod is 63 inches tall and weighs less than 1 pound before adding a ball head (an additional accessory). Speed release leg locks make setting up easy, fast, and secure.

The lightweight aluminum leg sections have an indented groove that prevents the individual sections from turning during set-up or folding down, keeping the legs sections perfectly aligned.

  • Number of Leg Sections: 4
  • Leg Lock Type: Flip Lever
  • Maximum Height: 160 cm / 63 in.
  • Minimum Height: 50.8 cm / 20 in.
  • Maximum Load: 1.5 kg / 3.3 lbs
  • Weight: 0.29 kg / 0.65 lb

SLIK 350 Monopod review by Odradek

It serves me well enough to hold a D70 + Tamron 70-300 LD, and I figure it can hold any lens up to a 80-200 f/2.8. Any extra weight ought to make it unstable and jerky.

The locking mechanisms are ok as far as gripping is concerned, but the rubber foot tends to make it slip (therefore the Slik branding!!) in a polished surface.

Sometimes used with a Manfrotto 486RC2 ball-head, and that makes a wonderfull light combination.

It's cheap and takes a load of my back and arms when shooting for a long time: it gets the job done!
