(From company literature) Tamrac 519 Pro-Zoom Pak. The Pro Zoom Pack is one of Tamrac's largest Zoom Packs and was specifically designed to accommodate large pro cameras such as Nikon's F-5 and D1, and Canon's EOS cameras with the power booster. With the zoom lens pointing down, the Pro Zoom Pak holds a pro camera with a lens attached up to 8" long. Alternatively, an internal padded divider can be used to protect and carry two smaller lenses or accessories. A large outside pocket will hold a flash, extra film and accessories. Inside the fast-access zippered top is a Windowpane-Mesh™ pocket for filters, lens caps or cleaning materials.

Remove the shoulder strap and use on belt or as chest pack with the optional S-500 Chest Harness System. Accepts Modular Accessory System™ (M.A.S.™) and Strap Accessory System™ (S.A.S.™) products and fits onto our M.A.S.™ belt system.

Tamrac 519 Pro-Zoom Pak review by garys

Pros: well built, moderate price
Cons: no option for reverse opening of the top

Large and bulky, but provides good protection to the camera and lens. When I am not using a longer lens and want to take along a flash, it fits nicely on top of the camera body and still allows the top to be closed
