(From company literature) Lowepro Omni Sport & Sport Extreme. A convertible beltpack/shoulder bag (Omni Sport) slides into a waterproof Sport Extreme hard case (or a Pelican 1400). The versatile Omni Sport works as a shoulder bag on the removable, padded, contoured shoulder strap or a beltpack on its hide-away waistbelt. Gear is easily accessible, even in the Sport Extreme case. The customizable interior has handy laminated mesh pockets for film and accessories.

Specifications:

  • Type: Soft Bag with optional Hard Case
  • Available Colors: Black
  • Outer Fabric (Bag): Water-resistant 600D TXP™
  • Type of Closure: Zipper, quick release buckles (bag); double latches (case)

Pros: Great Compartments, Waterproof
Cons: Bulky at times

Recently when hiking at mt ranier in washington state for a little photo shooting session i packed my gear in the Lowepro Omi. I slipped and dropped my gear into a small glacier stream (a few words escaped my mouth). I chased the case down a picked it up out of the river. To my complete suprise the gear was bone dry and untouched. That day i swore i would promote this case. Its perfect for anyone who needs good/dependeble protection of their gear.
