Pros: AF-S 600mm f4D fits with hoods reversed, sturdy, light for the protection it offers, sliplock additions
Cons: Limited place

I bought a Nikon AF-S 600mm f4D recently and needed to transport it more easily. The size and weight are considerable.
For me this Lens Trekker and lens is not a combination that can be used for exploring walks (too heavy) but if you know what you need and go the shortest route, this is the way you want to travel with your 600mm (trolley excluded).
This bag is created to move a large lens with body and tripod, since the lens is a bit narrow after the hood some other things can fit in, but this first version is not build for it (this keeps the weight down! + newer versions have a bit more space & separators). On the other hand there are plenty holders to add Lowepro Sliplock accessories and extend the capacity as needed.
The holder system to carry the weight on the hips is great and the bag really supports a big lens (I tried a 500mm f4.5 in a regular backpack before and that gives not the same feeling of support). All Lens Trekker versions seems to be made in a way that they are difficult to destroy (I could not get a safety pin through any of the material).
